December Events

December 9th – Saturday
Sequoians Members’
Christmas-Holiday Party!

On Saturday, December 9, we continue to celebrate the Holidays with our annual Christmas-Holiday Party.  This is open to all members and their families.

• We’re having a cookie exchange as part of the holiday party at 4:00pm;
• followed by wine tasting with Twining Vine at 5:00pm;
• then, finger food eats along with wines that may still need to
be tasted between 6:00 and 7:00pm.

Around 7, we will again have our crazy gift exchange.  If you want to participate, bring a wrapped gift worth at least $20.  If you are bringing children, please bring gifts for them so they don’t get left out!

As in the past, we will have our Toys for Tots toy drive.  Please be generous.  Start collecting the toys now so we have a generous donation to give to our local fire station for those less fortunate.

We have our Sequoians family that is always there for us if we need them.  Let’s help those who don’t have that support!

December 31st – Sunday
New Year’s Eve Party

New Year’s Eve dinner and dance on Sunday, December 31st.
What a great way to close out our successful year!

Our DJ, Susan, will set up early and we will serve appetizers beginning  around 7:00 p.m.  Dinner will be served about 8:00 p.m.

The dinner will be reservation only.
The choices for dinner will be tri-tip or salmon with side dishes  and salad, plus dessert. Wine or sparkling cider  will be included with the dinner.   At midnight we will serve champagne to welcome in the year of 2018!  Dinner, dance, and New Year champagne celebration all for only  $25/person.

Also, if you able to help prep, serve or clean up, please let us know.  The more help we have, the quicker we can all enjoy the evening!

November Events

Saturday – November 18th
Thanksgiving Party

Celebrate Thanksgiving with our friends and family.  Remember, this is the Saturday BEFORE the actual holiday.

This is a clothed event so bring your family and friends who may be curious about where you spend your time!  This is open to all members and their families.

Please get your reservations and what you plan to bring to Bev by November 12th.   Reservations are needed so we make sure we have enough seating and food   This is a planned dinner, not a regular pot luck.   Dinner is set for 6 pm. so please plan accordingly!       And if you can’t make it, please let me know so I don’t “bug” you about it!

Please contact Bev through the email sent to you from the membership listing, or through, to let her know how many in your group AND what you will be bringing for dinner.  We need it all – hams, turkeys, potatoes & gravy, stuffing, green bean casseroles, vegetables, salads, desserts, etc.  And if you have something special that you like to do for Thanksgiving, that is welcome, too.  If you let me know, I can try to make sure that all we have isn’t potatoes!

Finally, we always collect food for our local food bank.  Please be as generous as you can.  If one can is all you can afford, then please bring that.  BUT if you can afford more, please bring it.  And please, NO GLASS, only cans and boxes.  Our local fire station is always impressed with the car load of food I bring to them after our Thanksgiving dinner.

And when you are out shopping, get those toys for our Toys for Tots drive for our Christmas-Holiday Party on December 9th.
