Full Moon Hikes During the 2019 Season

April 2109 Full Moon Hike

In order to have all Full Moon Hikes on Saturday evenings this year, some occur slightly after the full moon.   For April, we are one day past the full moon date (Friday 19, APR 2019), and the moon will rise on that day (Saturday 20, APR 2019), at 9:30 PM, hence the late start.

Start:                    Saturday 20, APR 2019 at 9:30 p.m.
Where:                 Sequoians Clothing Free Club House
Things to Bring:
  • Hiking Shoes
  • Towels
  • A wrap I case we leave property
  • Other clothing as appropriate for conditions
  • A good flashlight
  • Water
  • Snack

If you want to make a day of it, come and stay for the Potluck Dinner, always a lot of great food and comradery.  Bring something to share.

There will be two groups hiking, one staying close by (2-mile Moderate Hike, 1.25 hours), the others pushing into Las Trampas (4-Mile Challenging Hike, 3 hours).

Regardless of which group you are in, we will move at the pace of the slowest hiker and take frequent rests.  No one is left behind.

After the hike there will be showers available and there will be a nude spirited(!) talk in the hot tub.  Please bring any beverages in cans or plastic to abide by our “no-glass” policy for the pool deck. And please be a responsible drinker.  Camping sites are available if needed but you must arrange for them in advance of the hike.

The East Indian Holi festival of color for spring. It starts out with a style of open dance and splashing a lightly scented paint powder on the participants (easy clean off). Followed by a professional belly dance demonstration. More info? You can find more about it on Google.
